Ryan Mcginely

After another brilliant exhibition in Japan i felt like i had to claim my love for him on here.  Ive mentioned him a few times before, but his just the best most exciting photographer of the 21st Cen. With similar themes such as Nan Goldin, Larry Clarke and other classic American photogrpahers. But i think ryan dose so well  is to develop. 

After years of taking pictures of friends in new york, 2002 he went on a road trip for 3 months with 5 girls 5 boys and captured amazing free photos. nearly every summer after that his done the same. the nudes are just incredible different and so new. The coulour he catches in nature are amazing. He has also worked with studio work which even then can be exciting. Working with animals and nudes.

You have to check out all his work its got no faults in it. Check the scene his in, working with the likes of Girls, Char Moore, Sigur Ros, The Virgins he is the hippest kid in new york. I cant wait to see his new work, waiting for another exhibition in London
